Okino-gu Shrine is located in Onoyama (Onoyama Park), Naha City. This shrine is one of the eight shrines of Ryukyu and, enshrining Tenjuku-meryugu-oonkami, Tenryu-oo-onkami, Amekushin-otomeo-onkami and, Kumano’s three gods (Izananami・Tamahayao and, Kotosakao). The Illuminations Event started several years ago for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Many people participate .
