The yearly Shuri Castle festival is held at Shuri Castle Park as a main field, from the end of October to the beginning of November.

“The feast of traditional arts” shows Ryukyu dance, local entertainment and classical music. The “ceremony of Chinese envoys” shows the Ryukyu dynasty’s parade. It modernized the welcoming ceremony of Chinese envoys. “Candle lights of Bankoku-shinryo” light up Shuri Castle by candle light. You can feel the spirit of the Ryukyu dynasty through the festival.
