Ie manor house annex garden is located 1.3km away from the northeast side of the historic Shuri castle remains and, is 127m above sea level in Gotenyama. The center gate, located on the north side, was rebuilt after World War II. The unique yet intricate curves on both sides of the stone walls are a typical design of a Ryukyu garden. This manor house retains its original look in good condition. It has high value in art as well as an object of an upper class's garden in this area.
