Historic sites

Nishimui means “North hill” and it is located north of Shuri. In the summer of 1657, Masanori the Prince of Ba-shi Kunigami, built a place of worship for Benzaiten for Prince Mitsuhisa Shimazu’s happiness.
There is a theory that Ibe means “The holy place where God is enshrined.”
